The best Star Wars space flying game ever rating

This is easily the best Star Wars space flying game ever. Pretty decent graphics, awesome stages, wide choice of ships. On the bonus levels, you can even be Darth Vader and save the Death Star. The later games like Rebel Strike III don't even compare - they have too many first-person stages instead of the vehicles. If you've ever wanted to pilot an X-Wing (or Slave I!) this is your chance.

I love these type of games and this one has excellent graphics and is a must for the Star Wars buff.

Rogue Leader rating

My 14 yr old loves this game. He recently chose to use a monthly free movie/game coupon, that came with the gamecube, for a movie instead because he said he knew he'd want to play this game the most anyway.

Not a great buy rating

I was a fan of the first installment of Rogue Squadron, but I'm not impressed with where the series has gone. The main problem for me is visibility: TIE fighters are tiny and almost impossible to see (especially in space battles), making taking them too much of a challenge. They added a targeting computer feature that helps a bit, but you lose points the longer you use the targeting computer.

Overall, I found portions of this game to be fun, but they need to brighten up the graphics to make it more playable.
