Reviews Wonderful Fun Game for Whole Family by: on: 07-Aug 2010 Animal Crossing for Gamecube is easy to learn to play and a true "family" type game. The game teaches cooperation, some "getting along with some challenging personalities" social skills, the value of working to earn bells to pay for housing and purchases, letter writing skills, and simple acts of kindness towards the animal characters. We love the option of being able to create 4 human characters so family members can have the opportunity to play and enjoy the game with their own human character. We love how the town evolves (animal characters move in and out of the town, seasons change, fish/bugs change, special town events). Animal Crossing is a rare game that subtley teaches kindness and neighborliness, and outright teaches about fish, bugs, dinosaurs and community building. And no violence in this game - yay! Our family just loves it and we look forward to family video game time--we're hooked. It used to be very adicting. by: on: 02-Aug 2010 This game used very fun digging up tresure, going fishing and going bug hunting. And about 2 months later this game got boring catching new bugs are hard ,catching new fish is hard and finding treasure is a little hard. If I were you I would not buy this game. Animal crossing by: on: 07-Mar 2010 My 10 year old ordered this game with his birthday money. He loves it, as do his older brother (16yrs), and cousin (19yrs.). We received the game more quickly than anticipated. And they've all been playing it since. My son loves to read things when his character is talking to someone, or when he reads notes left for him by his brother and cousin. They all like the little adventures their characters take, and the missions they do. It is only a one player game, But, they take turns. There is enough space available to make a few different memory spaces for each character. It's fun and not offensive. Children under 10 can play it, if they can read fairly well. All around it is a good game for many people, young and old great game by: on: 05-Mar 2010 If you are in to games like Harvest Moon, or any RPG game for that matter, you would definately enjoy this game! I am a 19 year old girl and I love games like Harvest Moon, Fable, etc, and this game definately didn't dissappoint me! It is really fun, you work in the town, interact with the animals in the town (you are the only person) and you do favors, catch fish, make money, and build on your house! I think it's alot of fun and I am definately hooked on it! View All ReviewsView All Strategy |
