Better options abound       rating

This game is ok if your looking for a shooter on the cube, but there were much better later Recon games and other shooters that came out later. Get metal gear for the cube instead. You get a much better game that is also collectible.

The game is packed with the action that the gamers in my house crave. Ordering was easy and fast. Everything is always delivered in good condition and on time.
7.8 Pretty Good Game       rating

I was huge fan of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six and Rougue Spear, so when I got the chance to play Ghost Recon on PC, naturally I took it. I loved it, and I've played it on X-Box as well, and now the Gamecube. I'll rate this game independantly of the others, as it is only fair.

Graphics: 6 - Looks like a first gen Gamecube game...bad textures, clumsy movement, and framerate drops, but nice open areas. Beautiful FMV's.

Sound: 8 - Nice sound effects, music adds a bit of atmosphere, voice acting is so-so, but nothing very special

Controls: 8 - It works nicely, albiet gets a bit confusing at times because of the planning buttons, but simple and to the point.

Gameplay: 8 - Realistic tactical shooter. Missions are set in a realistically portrayed plot and 2-player co-op is pretty fun. Single player is decent, but no real incentive to replay. Biggest problems are multi-player and lack of extras.

Presentation: 4 - Menus are easy to navigate. My biggest gripe with this game is the lack of any extras (I do not consider screenshots of other people playing extras), and multi-player is pretty much a bust. 2-player FPS?? I'll pass...

OVERALL SCORE: 7.8 (not an average) - It's a game that I had fun playing. It was never extremely frustrating or boring, although multi-player is almost non-existant. Dated graphics don't hinder what is overall a good experience. It's at least worth a rental, or must-have for die hard Tom Clancy fans who only have a Gamecube. Otherwise, the PC and X-Box versions are vastly superior.
Tom Clancy Has Done It Again       rating

Before I begin, let me tell you, this game is not for any undetermined fighters. True, it is not as good as the XBOX or PS2 versions, but it sure as hell beats the heck out of most fighter games. Ignore the weopons, they stink, but you can beat most shooting games with only a pistol. What I'm saying is: If you don't know how to plan, you'll screw up pretty badly. One more plus, it's perfectly fine for teens (not people younger than that).

The squad you lead is a double or nothing squad. One man down and you feel that you have failed the mission. The excitement and realism is amazing. But remember, if you don't care, you don't win.
